Penang Trip 2011

I try to make this as quick as possible.... Its gonna be a damn long post with 90 pictures lolz..
Went to penang with Sam and Kenny last Friday and we met up with Jason and Forlorn...
Basically you can say this as our farewell trip though not all of us were present, as JT was working and Raymond has class... So its only the 5 of us...

Day Before

kenny and i went to sam's place for the night as we're following his mum's car to penang

watching How I Met Your Mother, we kinda slept at 4am++ and i slept at 5am and woke up at 6.15am =/ ...

Day 1

woke up, had my bath and this 2 fella are still in slumberland xD

on the way to penang, sleep again xD hahaha

reached penang, sam's mum dropped us at Queensbay Mall and then we had our lunch with Forlorn and Jason at SuperTanker, Bukit Jambul...

Sam's blur face.... Cause we told him to order the food in Hokkien and yea, he's the only one among us who cant speak hokkien xD hahaha

tea time at Batu Lancang... the best pasembur (we called it Rojak here in KL) we had... and we had 2 FYI lol...

must visit place for those who wanna eat good foods =)

went Air Itam for the delicious Curry Mee

I love PIG BLOOD! xD everytime i order i will say, Curry Mee, mai taugeh, keh huet xD

and Char Keuy Teow, honestly i think we had around 4-5 char keuy teows at 4-5 different location in penang lolz

dinner time at Gurney Drive, yea a kinda expensive a lil compared to other penang stalls but the food aint bad, at least they're edible and delicious, better than KL...

the 5 of us ate like 10+ plates of food and seriously we're so darn full lol

had an exercise walk at Gurney Drive

after that we went to Straits Quay, a big and new shopping centre located behind of Island Plaza, a very high class one and a beautiful one too...

so yeah, we took lots of picture here, you can have a look, i dont know what to write here lol

went Hard Rock Hotel, wanted to go for a walk at the beach but it's only for hotel guest

nevertheless, we went to another location and had a long walk at the beach, 12am in the morning lolz.. and the water is warm...

on the way home, went for supper at Kayu Nasi Kandar... i can say this is better than any other Nasi Kandar restaurants in KL... Forlorn ate 2-3 portion of rice lol

So that concludes our first day... We wanted to have breakfast at Air Itam the next morning, as i told them the Hakka Mee there is the best! But cause everyone was too exhausted from day 1, so we kinda slept til 12pm lol, and straight skipped our breakfast..

went to Taman Kota Lama, for a delicious lunch

yesh! the best Mee Goreng Sotong that you'll eat! Another must try food for visitors...

after eating the spicy mee sotong, ice kacang best served as dessert...

enjoy the wonderful sea breeze plus the very hot sun at the same time lol

dinner at Newlane, Georgetown... chicken legs, i like =D

penang loh bak.... cheap and nice...

and again we ate quite a lot of foods hahaha

tong yuen for dessert....

then we went to gurney plaza for a movie, and while waiting this 2 fella played this game, but the funny thing is, the disc keep flying out of the table lol

yamcha session at coffee island... good atmosphere and lots of humans... good place for youngsters like us

So, everyone's wondering where's our Day 3 picture? LOL, here's the story of what happened...

Day 3

We planned to wake up at 6.20am to get prepared for breakfast because Sam's mum wanna depart at 9am... We wanted to ta pao Penang's delicious Chee Cheong Fun for our family at Georgetown and then head off to Air Itam for the Hakka Mee we missed the day before...

BUT, hahaha this is what happened... 4am the day before, im going to bed, and i set my alarm in my blackberry... Normally i wouldnt use my blackberry alarm as my iphone alarm is alot better.. But because forlorn was playing with my phone, so i set my alarm in my bb.. So we slept at 4am... i even woke up at 5am because i had a stomachache... Then i slept again...

Woke up, and the first thing i realize is, WHY IS THE SKY SO DARN BRIGHT??? o.O checked my phone and the time shows 8.45am @.@ OMGWTF!!! and the guys are still sleeping FYI, none of them set the alarm to wake up WTF? so i woke them up and we rushed and rushed and rushed because Sam's mum are waiting for us....

And so, we reached Queensbay at 10am, we missed our delicious Hakka Mee for breakfast, we missed to ta pao the delicious Chee Cheong Fun for our family, we missed taking a last group picture... HOW SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGWTF!!! SAD SAD SAD SAD DAY!

Really, we were enjoying the previous 2 days and on our last day, this is what happened == zzz.. Haih, but overall, this trip is nice, minus what happened on the last day...

Nevertheless we had lots of fun this trip and i gotta say i hope there's one more of this trip again in the future, one more last time before i depart to Skudai, Johor...

Reached KL at 3.30pm yesterday and i head straight to the saloon because my hair was too long..
And jjang...~ my new hairstyle... I wanted to try short hair for a long time and haha here how it looks like =DD

haha, i kinda like it, and got some good comments from friends... =) what do you think?
